Pythagorean Theorem

What is the Pythagorean Theorem?
You can learn all about the Pythagorean Theorem, but here is a quick summary:
The Pythagorean Theorem says that, in a right triangle, the square of a (a2) plus the square of b (b2) is equal to the square of c (c2):
a2 + b2 = c2

Example:
Solve this triangle

Start with:a2 + b2 = c2
Put in what we know: 8 cm+ 6 cm = c2
Calculate squares:64 cm + 36 cm = c2
100 cm  = c2
Swap sides:c2 = 100cm
Square root of both sides:c = √100 cm
Calculate:c = 10 cm

Thankyou guys 😊
